- Black Vulpes -

Black Vulpes is a brand that I designed from the logo to the products sold under it. The name Black Vulpes is the genus for the rare ‘silver fox’ with varying shades of black fur. Which is where the logo for the brand comes from. I create and manufacture all of the pieces advertised. I wanted a space where I could grow in my art and be able to share it in one place. The more I make the more I want to make which is where Black Art, Black Candles and Black Apparel have come from.

Black Art is a place where my raw expression is. It holds some of my deepest secrets, each piece is inspired by emotions events and experiences of life. My style of painting often changes to express this. Varying from abstract to realistic, from oil painting to acrylic. I will forever be painting, and I don’t think I will ever do two the same. My inspirations for my work range widely and greatly, some are Odilon Redon, Raphael, Cezanne, Eugene De la Croix and Franz Marc.

Black Candles was the inspiration for the whole enterprise of my small business. Black Candles is where my unique individual candle concept came into being. I originally purchased some candle making equipment to learn something new (to the never-ending slew of craft activities I do). I enjoyed making them so much and was so inspired by the fragrances that I have now designed my own candle canisters, hand-made and filled by myself.

Black Apparel is the next step to Black Vulpes, with designs in progress for both long and short sleeve shirts. Soon I will start experimenting with paints and fabrics and hopefully in a few weeks I will have the first range of Black Vulpes-Black Apparel on the website too.
